Third day in Kyoto
It is Thursday 7:45am in Kyoto. I`m writing this update in the lobby of the hotel, and internet access is actually free. Trying to type on a Japanese is extremely difficult, cuz the space bar is the size of the shift key, it`s frustrating.
I got searched on the street yesterday by 3 cops in front of Heian Jingu, cuz Bush is in town. They made me open my bag, took half the bag out (I had all my belongings in that bag, clothes, etc), at the corner of an intersection. I guess they thought I was one of those anti WTO extremist with MEC bag packs that causes riots. Security is tight during his visit, there`s cops everywhere. The other night there were a bunch of black cars that drove by and in the back seat was the Japanese prime minister. All the school girls went nuts and starting screaming and taking pictures with their camera phones.
Oh cell phones, they are getting bigger, again. Majority of them are flip phones the size of the old school iPods, except you can watch TV and a whole lot of other jazz.
Anyways, my 30 mins is up. Lates.
